  1. A hot key is a keystroke that has the same result as clicking a tile. Hot keys work at any time, even when The Tilery is not the frontmost application.

  3. 窶｢ Choose Hot Key窶ｦ from a tile窶冱 menu to show the Hot Key dialog.

  5. 窶｢ Press any key to make that the hot key for the tile. You can (and usually should) include modifier keys (shift, option, command (竚˜), and/or control) in your hot key.

  7. 窶｢ Click the Clear button if you want to remove a hot key.
  8.  
  9. 窶｢ Click OK when you窶决e done, or click Cancel to leave the original hot key unchanged.

  11. You must use the mouse to click OK or Cancel. The usual keyboard shortcuts won窶冲 work; they窶冤l be interpreted as a hot key assignment.
